After reading John Gawker’s article at AOL this morning I gotta say Fuck Wyclef Jean!! What a peace of shit! I’m glad some one called him out on his fake Haitian charity, Yele Haiti. Yele Haiti is an obvious scam. Hundreds and thousands of dollars from his charity, Yele Haiti have been used for Wyclef’s personal and business endeavors, but not a single dollar has gone to Haitian relief. Yele Haiti has raised over $1 million dollars a day since the earthquake, but the pretense of “Emergency Relief” has him in trouble. A true Haitian would have made it home immediately to help, no matter what the outcome. Wyclef Jean is hiding behind a “lack of security” excuse. Truthfully not a dollar from Yele Haiti will ever reach the Haitian people. What a disgrace!

The saddest part of the situation is why Wyclef Jean is bullshitting about his charity geared towards his homeland, Haiti. He’s a very rich and talented musician who doesn’t need the extra money. If there’s something going wrong with Wyclef Jean’s financial estate, stealing from your charity in which many donations are given by his fans, is probably not a good idea. I’m hoping to write a follow up article proving that money raised by Yele Haiti for Haitian relief, actually makes it there.
