First of all, I wasn’t there when Cambridge, Massachusetts, police Sgt. James Crowley arrested Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. So I’m not taking sides or planning to. What I do know from President Barack Obama’s beer invitational is this: Barack Obama is solving this problem like a man, in an old fashioned face-to-face sit down, rarely seen with the likes of modern day political charlatans.

Budweiser is the presidential beer of choice according to White House press secretary Robert Gibbs. Which in my book proves that Barack is a man’s man, and a responsible drinker, not a drunk college kid. First Barack Obama chose to drink beer, and an easy drinking low alcohol content beer at that. He didn’t invite the men out for “drinks”, which is typically hard alcohol, and he didn’t order heavy foreign brews with more alcohol content. Basically he went to hang-out, socialize, and resolve a problem. Evidently James Crowley and Henry Louis Gates Jr. were perfectly OK with just that type of invitation. Only a fool would pass on the opportunity to have the president of the United States of Americare resolve conflict with another man. Especially when the argument is arbitrated by The President of the United States of America, Barack Obama and his Vice President, Joe Biden.
